Book Fair Haul

My sweet, happy baby girls, ready for another day, both in cute little denim skirts!

And then no pictures were taken for over 12 hours, while we did normal/chaotic school, work, worship team practice & church tonight… Loved this sunset as we were leaving church tonight on our way home.

Sooo, even though I tried to tell Emerson she didn’t need to try to spend the entire $50 of her book fair eWallet this week, she still managed to do exactly that! Well, she has $1.67 left on her account. But here’s her book fair haul! (Plus not pictured, a magic pen that writes with invisible ink, and you can only see it with the special black light on the other end of it.) The little phone is actually a case for four tiny markers, and the poptart is a calculator 🤣

After reading a book to Addison, we left her with Daddy for their usual bedtime. And Emerson and I snuggled up in her bed to read together. I know this tv series has been super popular lately, this summer specifically, but I’ve never read the books nor watched the show, so I’m finally getting around to that now! I actually have the whole trilogy in one giant Kindle book, but I got this first one from the library so I started on it tonight.

I’m using the tag from my new reusable grocery bag from Trader Joe’s as a book mark, because it’s so cute.

 

I’m feeling extra tired tonight, so I just know I’ll be falling asleep on the couch shortly after I settle down…
