Back to School

Despite Addie’s very concerned little face this morning, she was in fact totally fine and excited to go to school again today. 🙂

She specifically asked me for a “bun with a clip” in her hair this morning, and it looked so, so cute!

Mama, Meg, Aunt Q and I all went to lunch at Surchero’s today, for some delicious tex-mex food. We love our little girls’ lunches!

We had our usual Wednesday night church tonight, and Addie was so sweet and excited to see one of her favorite big girls when she got there.

GC Kids threw a little back-to-school bash for all the kids to kick off getting back into their classes again at school and their classes at church. Then to really celebrate, everyone got a free icee from The Sugar Fix shave ice truck!

So we stayed at church a little later than usual, and bedtime was a little later than usual, but things still went smooth and easy.

And of course y’all know I’m now currently doing my nails and watching The New Heights podcast, grinning from ear to ear watching my girl gush about her masters and her boyfriend and her re-records and her new album and just everything. Can’t wait for October 3rd!
