Addison was in a bit of a mood this morning, so we had a rough time getting ready. But we did eventually get everyone dressed and ready and out the door, only a few minutes later than usual.
I got this little microwave ready meal at the Bush’s visitor center in Tennessee on spring break last month, and finally ate it for lunch today, with one of those little frozen rice bags from Trader Joe’s. It was not at all spicy, and honestly needed a little extra flavor. But it was still good, and I loved the texture.
Jeff picked up Emerson for gymnastics today, and they had their pre-gymnastics snack at Krispy Kreme.
And apparently she was having a little fun “driving” in their parking lot too.
And then when they stopped by to pick up Addison, they also went over to visit Nana really quickly, since her office building is right in the same parking lot as Addie’s daycare.
We did breakfast for dinner again tonight, with bacon, egg & cheese sandwiches & hash browns on the side. I had planned to make smoothies too with the giant bag of frozen berries Walmart gave me on accident, but it was too much trouble so I skipped that for the night.
After dinner, it was still pretty early, so we introduced the girls to the original animated “Beauty and the Beast” movie from the ’90’s, and they both loved it. We got through the “Be Our Guest” song tonight, and I worked on my puzzle while we watched.
Addie was so cute taking care of her little baby tonight, just being such a good little mama to her Cabbage Patch shark baby.
Then Emmie got out both of their matching Cabbage Patch babies that we got them from the actual Cabbage Patch Babyland in Georgia last year, and they were so sweet with them.
More sister snuggles before bedtime routines…
And both girls are now very soundly sleeping. I’m going to go wash some dishes, and then probably finish up my puzzle, or maybe read a little bit, or maybe watch TikTok’s with Jeff. He loves to message me tons of them and then watch them together for fun, and I’m sure we’ve got tons of them backed up from over the weekend and such…
