Baby Bear & Baby Yoda

Baby Bear was especially sweet and happy this morning, in her adorable little baby bear hoodie! She even kept growling at me, with the tiniest baby bear growls.

And Big Sister said she was like Elsa today (in her Baby Yoda sweatshirt), with her tiny little braid. (I promised her I’d keep practicing, since I’m not that great at braiding hair, but she thought it was beautiful.)

This morning, I finally made it to my long-awaited podiatry appointment for all the pain I’ve been having in my left heel. I’ve had it scheduled since before Christmas, and my foot has been hurting since right after Thanksgiving. Turns out, it’s definitely fasciitis just like I suspected, so he prescribed me a quick round of steroids to reduce the inflammation, and confirmed via a picture I showed him, that the shoes I ordered online (that still haven’t arrived) will be a big help.

And while I was sitting in the waiting room, I finished one library Kindle book, so I started up a new Kindle library book before I was called back.

And while I was on my way there, I finished one audio book, so I started up a new audio book on the way back to work.

My Mama found these randomly and gave them to me last week, and I tried them today, and they were so good! I just ate a few plain, but I really want to use these for a dip or adding some toppings or something. Super good though.

Addie Pie had herself a good day at school today, hanging out with her tiny friends.

Jeff took this photo in the front yard while I was cooking dinner, but it looked way prettier outside than this photo actually conveys.

I did a one-skillet meal with sausage, potatoes, peppers & onions, and it was really super good. I added green onions, and a few random grape tomatoes I had leftover from last week, and I really liked this meal a lot. (Could be because of my obsession with sautéed peppers & onions.)

After dinner, we did the super quick cleaning around the kitchen, living room and dining room, while we put on a quick timer. We got a surprising amount done in that time, including vacuuming the carpet too. The girls each had a snack and some milk before bed, and then Emerson wanted Mommy-Daughter cuddle time in my bed, so we read a book together, put some Neosporin on her boo-boo from last week, and then we both fell asleep together in my bed.

When I came back out after moving Emmie to her bed, I found these two snoozing away together too. So I scooped up Addie and loved on her, and then carried her back to lay her down in her bed too.

I already lit a candle earlier while we were cleaning, so the house is smelling nice, looking tidier, and feeling cozy. So now it’s just time to sit down and rest.
