Look at these little sweeties, so cute ready for school today.
And we met up with Grammy dropping off the triplets at daycare today, so that was fun.
And Jeff said that Emerson had a good drop-off today as well.
For my lunch today, I had last night’s supper leftovers, and it was delicious again. The salad was almost better today than it was last night!
Got a few really cute pics of Addie from school today…
I finished one audio book this afternoon (sweet, short, charming, yummy), and then instantly started a new one (memoir, narrated by the author/actress herself).
And the girls were so cute walking out to the car at the end of the day after I picked them both up from their respective schools.
I had planned to make crab cakes for dinner tonight, but Jeff wanted to mow the yard. So I switched to making some plain cheese quesadillas for me and the girls since I would be dealing with everything by myself, but then he changed his mind and wanted that first too, before heading outside to mow.
After a little bit of playtime in Addie’s room, we eventually went out and stood on the back porch just so we could watch Jeff walk back and forth mowing the back yard.
Look how well my old peace lily is growing! It’s really thriving out in the sunshine, fresh air, and rain, so I’m just gonna leave it out there for a while longer yet.
Emerson requested some “warm peach tea” before bedtime tonight, and of course she had to be involved and do most of it herself.
Both girls were acting super tired tonight, and both ended up falling asleep really quickly and easily, around 8:45-ish or so. Jeff was able to finish the back yard and get a shower, and then he was the one that rocked Addie Pie to sleep. Gonna go wash the few dishes that we have, and then rest a little bit.
