These precious babies were so stinking sweet and precious this morning, loving each other and giving us the biggest and bestest smiles, with those beautiful blue eyes!!
I mean, can you even with these faces!? The smiles! The eyes! The loves! I can’t….
I got off work early today to have a parent-teacher conference with Addison’s teacher at NFC. All went well, and it was a quick meeting, and I was able to pick her up earlier than usual today.
And since we still only have one car right now, Addie and I picked up Jeff from his office, and then I drove them both home. I only stayed for a few minutes, but this cutie was playing her tiny ukulele in the afternoon sunlight, and I took about 10 pictures of her, because I just couldn’t get enough! The plants, the books, the sunlight, the GIRL! Loved it all so much, my sweet little afternoon musician.
Papa was able to pick up Emerson for us today and take her to gymnastics, to help with all our hoopla & logistics. But then I went back to the gym to relieve him and sent him home, while I sat down to read while Emmie was in class. I read the prologue of this book Friday, then didn’t touch it for four days, but finally got started on it for real tonight.
We came home and had dinner and watched the beginning of “Because of Winn Dixie,” until it was time to get ready for bed. Jeff was outside in the carport working on his car, which is unfortunately still not working quite right… 😏 So I did a one-parent-put-down for the girls’ bedtime, and they both fell asleep in our bed quickly and easily. I left them there together, and we’ll have to move them later when we’re ready to go to sleep ourselves.
I’ve got a small amount of dishes to wash before I can settle down, but first I’m gonna finish the last few minutes of the last episode of the Katrina docu-series on Netflix.
