A Very GC Christmas

This morning was such a big day at church for our kiddos, especially Emerson! She did such an amazing job with her solo, and I was so proud of her. She reached over to grab my hand about halfway through the song, and I had to think of anything else going on so that I didn’t start crying while singing. It was just such a sweet moment!

The triplets sang in the choir with us too, and Jeff was serving on the tech team, so Addie was there early as well. So we had all five girlies up  there before service, being cute and sweet. (And how cute is Kensley in her new glasses!?)

After the kids sang, we took them next door to GC Kids, where they were having a Very Whoville Grinchmas today, full of Grinch games and Grinch snacks, and of course the Grinch himself!

We had a cute little photo area set up outside for family photos, so we all gathered up outside after church to get some photos together.

We went out to lunch at Surchero’s after church with Grammy & Papa, and then I crashed into bed for a nap the minute we made it home. Turns out, I think I’m coming down with a little cold or something, because I slept from 1:30-4pm, then moved to the living room and fell back asleep in the recliner until about 5:30pm. Then, I woke up to Jeff telling me he ordered & picked up Chinese food for dinner so I didn’t have to cook or worry about anything, and he specifically got me egg drop soup.

I think it’s actually sinuses all clogged up, because I have that sinus pressure feeling behind my eyes. I took some meds earlier, and I’m gonna try to get a good nights’ sleep, and hopefully kick this before it messes me up for Christmas!
