Jeff took only Little Sister to school this morning, ready for chapel in her chapel shirt! When she saw I had gotten pants out for her, she was like, “Wait, I need my chapel skirt!” I had to remind her it was super cold, way too cold for a skirt today!
And I took Big Sister to the dentist for an “emergency” appointment after she slammed her teeth into a slide on the playground at school yesterday. They took x-rays, and did a quick exam, and said one tooth is indeed a little wiggly, but everything’s actually fine. It’ll take about a week or so, but the tooth will firm up on it’s own. In the meantime, they gave us a special mouthwash to keep germs or infections from squeezing into the small gap in her gum since the tooth is pulled away a little bit right now.

I picked up both girls from school, and ran through Wendy’s to get a kids meal for Emerson. I dropped her off at church at 6pm, and then Addison and I went to meet Jeff for dinner at Chick-fil-A.

Jeff and Addie went on to church together, but I actually went home tonight. I wanted a little bit of quiet time, and I also did a few chores to get things ready for tomorrow, so we’ll have a smoother morning before school and work. I did about 30 minutes of chores, and then about 30 minutes of puzzle & audio book time, before Jeff and the girls got home from church.

We immediately got the girls into their jammies and watched an episode or two of Bluey, and got some Pennie snuggles on the couch.

We sent this to Grammy, “A” for Addison, to show off her favorite otter socks that Grammy got her on vacation last spring break.

Of course everyone was a little wound up at bedtime still, but Emmie was glad to have Pennie up in her bed. Pennie kinda grabbed a tiny little stuffy, and then Addie was playing with her stuffy with her, and they were just all so precious and sweet.

You can see the little koala stuffy tucked under Pennie’s paw in this picture below.

Glad I don’t have any dishes to wash or any more chores to take care of tonight. I can just sit down and relax and watch some tv now!
