Ocean Sunrise

Our final day was a lot of work, breaking down the camp, but we still found time to have some fun and enjoy the last day together. (If you’re not already caught up, start with day one, click here; or day two, click here.)

Tuesday: GC Girls Campout Day 3

Waking up with no fog today, meant we had an INCREDIBLE sunrise. So y’all know I took a zillion photos! (It was actually 25, but practically a zillion.) This was the view when I first popped out of my tent at 6:30 on the way to the restroom. I literally unzipped my tent, and had to step back in to grab my phone and snap pictures, before I could even walk to the restroom, because I knew it would start changing quickly and I didn’t want to miss this gentle orange and purple sky!

Hunting Ghost Crabs

After only a half day together on our first day (Sunday), Monday was our longest, fullest, and most fun day together! (If you missed day one, click here; or if you’re ready for day three, click here.)

Monday: GC Girls Camp out Day 2

The morning started out very damp and foggy, but these girls were totally obsessed with these stick bugs they found, and subsequently carried around on and off throughout the day.

Bayside Camping

Emerson and I are back from three days camping in the youth campsite on St. George Island, with her little Wednesday night girls group of 3rd-5th graders. (If you’ve gotten out of order somehow, click here for day two, and click here for day three.)

Sunday: GC Girls Camp Out Day 1

We left after church and lunch Sunday morning and took a small group, but we had a great time! I drove my own car, with Emmie and one little friend, and we had a blast driving down together.
