So for the past two or three weeks, we’ve been searching the house for my old Kindle, because I was going to give it to my friend at church, Jalenia, who mentioned wanting one. I used to know right where it was, but then when I wanted to grab it, it was no where to be found. I dug around everywhere for weeks. Then this morning, the Lord led me right to the Kindle!!
Addison “couldn’t find” her shoes, so I went to their shoe cabinet, and as I was squatting down in her bottom drawer, I was eye-level with the top of the cabinet, and lo & behold, it was just sitting right there, only partially hidden!! I had to take a pic to send to my friend after telling her all about the search last night. Literally no idea how it got there though, since both girls claim they didn’t play with it. When I sent the pic to Jalenia, she said it must have been the Holy Ghost that moved it! 🤣

You can’t quite tell with their new jackets, but the girls are wearing their matching Moana sister shirts together today.

Today was a crock-pot day, and I tried a new recipe for slow-cooker marry-me-chicken. (As always, I read and watched a few different recipes and kinda did what I wanted, but this one is most close to what I made, except, I did not sear the chicken first, nor will I ever. That’s the whole point of a crockpot meal, in my opinion!)

Literally only have three pics to share tonight, so I’m just gonna drop these here and move on about my evening!

The weather this morning felt incredible, like a crisp fall morning, so nice and lovely. All four of us went early today, because Jeff and I were both serving in GC Kids again today. One of Addison’s older besties, Makenzee, came and asked if she could take her next door to see her brother and get her a donut. It was all very, very sweet.

This morning, Grammy invited us all over to her house to help pack 100 Operation Christmas Child boxes! She’s been collecting, buying and receiving donations of things to fill the boxes for basically the whole past year. Her goal this year was to fill 100 boxes, and we helped her pack them all this morning!

Most mornings when I drive downtown towards West Tennessee Street, the sun is literally blinding me, even with dark polarized sunglasses on. But this morning, it was soft and fluffy and beautiful, and the orange sky just so happened to match the orange Whataburger sign I was next to.

Precious little girls again, even if we didn’t quite get the bestest of all the smiles this time 😉
