Awards Night
Today’s theme for Emmie was “winter wonderland,” but we weren’t quite sure how to dress for that. So she ran around like a chicken with her head cut off for about 15 minutes this morning trying to find something to wear. Then out of nowhere, I plucked her Winter Blitz shirt with the snowflake for winter wonderland, and she thought that was a great idea.And Jeff just picked a regular, random outfit for Addie, but she was happy about her unicorn shirt.

Grinchy Green
Today was “Grinch day” at Gilchrist for Emmie. She chose to wear her kids musical shirt again, and we found a green Growing Room shirt for Addie girl, and they were ready to go! Also, you can see Sheppy on the cart over Addie’s shoulder, where he wanted to visit our Christmas decor.

Mad for Plaid
This is the last week of work and school before Christmas break, and of course that means special dress-up days for the girls. Emerson’s dress-up day was “mad for plaid,” and I just lucked out finding this perfect dress in her closet, that I had totally forgotten about. Addison was supposed to wear a hat, but we didn’t find one in time, but if you look closely, the pineapples and flamingos are wearing Santa hats.

This morning was our annual kids’ Christmas musical at church, which is always such a great time! I sang on the worship team first,and we sang a few Christmas carols and worship songs. Then the kids took over the rest of the service and did a great job on their play!

German Christmas Decor
Emerson had one last dress rehearsal at church this morning, for her Christmas play, which is tomorrow. (If you wanna see her, come join us at Generations tomorrow at 10am, or stream from Facebook or YouTube!) So we had breakfast at home, then took her to church. We worked on some chores and things around the house for a few hours, and then took Mirabel back to church to pick up sister. Had to run around with the trippies for a bit too while we were there, of course.

Symphony
I love these sweet girls, and how much they love each other. Emerson was dressed fancy this morning, to go on a special field trip with her class to see the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra perform a special Christmas musical!
